Sandy Kau
Sandy is a member of the Client Service team at Ruane Cunniff.
Sandy spent the first eleven years of her career working in portfolio accounting and adminstrator roles at several different investment management firms. She joined Ruane Cunniff in 2017.
Sandy graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in Economics.
Best vacation
Best vacation is summer vacation. Who wouldn't like a 2-month long summer vacation? From second grade to my senior year in high school, my siblings and I spent every other summer vacation in South Korea. We stayed at our grandmother's house for the entire summer, immersed in Korean culture. Spending time with our relatives in Korea while growing up helped reinforce our family's roots as we live as Korean-Americans in the US.
What was your first job?
My first "paid" job at age 16 was working the food prep line at a local mom and pop restaurant called Toucan Taco.
