Trevor Magyar
Trevor is an analyst on the Sequoia team and sits on the strategy’s Investment Committee. In addition, he is a co-Portfolio Manager of our Hyperion Strategy. Trevor is a Partner of Ruane Cunniff and serves on the firm’s Management Committee.
Trevor began his career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs and an associate at Hellman & Friedman. After business school, Trevor worked as an analyst at Silver Point Capital before joining Ruane Cunniff in 2007.
Trevor graduated from Princeton University, Magna Cum Laude, with an AB in Economics and graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA.

Getting to ask questions all day, every day.
Tell us about your family.
My wife and I have a son, two daughters, two dogs, and two parakeets. We have a very happy and also very noisy home.
What was your first job?
I worked at a toy train store in middle school, first as a floor sweeper and eventually as a salesman.
